V.L. Carlile Enterprises was founded in 1998 by Victor Carlile offering home and property inspection services primarily for real estate transactions. As demand for home inspection services grew both locally and nationally, home owners' desired high performing safe buildings for their families. V.L. Carlile Enterprises began to offer Home Energy Audits and various environmental testing services to meet client demands. To better represent the services offered, V.L. Carlile Enterprises became Carlile Home and Property Services Inc. in 2002.
Carlile Home and Property Services continued to operate for the next 15 years serving clients in the northeast portion of Illinois. Conducting over 6,000 inspections, Carlile Home and Property Services Inc. is the most trusted and oldest home inspection firm in south Chicagoland.
Jacob Carlile, son of Victor Carlile, founded Carlile Architects LLC in 2011. For the next 6 years, Carlile Architects LLC and Carlile Home and Property Services Inc. relied on the experience and diversified staff of each company to ensure services exceeded client expectations. Realizing that each company offers different expertise to our built-environment, our collaborative depth resulted in the most comprehensive delivery of professional services available.
In 2017, Carlile Architects acquired controlling interest of Carlile Home and Property Services Inc. In order to better brand the full portfolio of services offered by the companies, the Carlile Group was established. To this day, Carlile Group offers inspection, design, planning, and environmental services to clients from the residential, commercial, institutional, civic, and light industrial market sectors.
Into the future, Carlile Group will be the premier provider of professional service experts related to our building infrastructure. Jacob Carlile envisions expansion into property development and management.
