Police Department Renovation
Project Details: The City of Braidwood Police Department lacked sufficient space for the functional and operational needs of the department. They had identified deficiencies related to available holding space, interrogation space, and interview rooms for victims and the public.
Carlile Architects engaged in programming and design for three interrogation and interview rooms accessed through the public entrance
to the Police Department. The department required the rooms to be installed within an existing unused sally port. The existing HVAC and electrical systems were tied into the new rooms in addition to sound barrier products and safety equipment consistent with the use of the building.
