Project Details: A critical examination of our local community college building facade was performed by Carlile Architects. The team collaborated to identify deficient and hazardous conditions to determine the expanse affected by water infiltration and to develop a strategy for repair and the development of restoration documents.

The water damage had caused parts of the pre-cast concrete to scale off the building falling to the common area entrance sidewalk below. Examination of the facade was accomplished via exploratory openings at the most affected areas. Design documents addressed the unsafe conditions, window replacement and resealing, and maintenance repairs.

The scope of work included addressing the interior and exterior damage at multiple locations, tuck-pointing, brick replacement, exterior insulation repair, and restoration.
