Flossmoor Unveils digital showcase of village's Historic Homes

Two-story historic house in Flossmoor surrounded by trees and a grassy lawn. Beige siding with red accents. Green sign in front yard reads "Certified Wildlife Habitat."

A few years ago, Carlile Group partnered with a grassroots organization of Flossmoor to help evaluate homes for their Interactive Historical Map Project — an initiative designed to document and celebrate the community’s architecturally significant residences.

The project provides historic home enthusiasts with images, historical context, and mapped locations, making local history more accessible and engaging. You can explore the Interactive Historical Map here:https://lnkd.in/gJ8EFP8B

Our team remains committed to thoughtful preservation and collaboration with public partners to ensure historic buildings are documented, protected, and positioned to serve future generations.

Thank you to the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle for covering this effort and highlighting the importance of preservation.
